モトコルセは1994年の創業以来、bimota、DUCATI、MV AGUSTAをはじめとした歴史あるヨーロピアン モーターサイクルを今日まで取り組んできました。コストや工程など量産車として開発しなければならない制約を持つ市販車の中に設計者が望み求めていたであろう本質と意思を感じ取り「もっとこうしたかったのではないか」という隠された魅力を導き出すことでより完成度を高めたモトコルセ コンプリートバイクシリーズを開発しています。
Since establishment in 1994, MOTO CORSE has been working on European motorcycles including bimota、DUCATI、MV AGUSTA, etc.,trying to understand what the designers wanted (Although could not reflect on to the designs due to the constraints that it must be developed as a production car), and produce high-end MOTO CORSE Complete Motorcycle Series by reflecting their hidden desire and charm.
それは1994年のbimota SB6をベースに開発したわずか160kgたらずの車体に220psのフレキシブルなエンジンを搭載したSB6SR MAX SPEED CHALLENGE (当時の最高速度公式世界記録を樹立)に始まり、2017年の東京モーターショーにて発表されたZ9RSCまで実に31モデルにも及びます。
モトコルセ コンプリートバイクシリーズ Z9RSCのベースとなるKawasaki Z900RSはZファンのみならず多くのライダーが待望し期待していた注目の車輌。Z1 / 900 Super Four、Kawasakiが世界一を目指し総力をあげて開発された当時最先端のスーパースポーツをオマージュし世界中のモーターサイクルファンやライダー達の夢を一身に集めたモデルです。
Total of 31 models has been developed since the SB6SR MAX SPEED CHALLENGE developed in 1994, which has set a world record for the fastest maximum speed by fitting the base model bimota SB6 with a flexible 220ps engine onto its body weighing less than 160kg, up until the Z9RSC exhibited in the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
KawasakiがZ1の開発に注いだ情熱を現代に受け継いだZ900RSに、モトコルセがこれまで築いてきた MOTO CORSE Styleを融合することで完成したZ9RSC。Z900RS専用にデザインしたスペシャルパーツを多数開発しコンパクトなパッケージングにしました。今後も引き続きZ9RSC / Z900RS専用のスペシャルパーツ開発を続けてまいります。ぜひご期待ください。
Z1／900 Super Four which Kawasaki Z900RS pays homage, is at that time the Model that Kawasaki has gone all-out to create the worlds best Super-Bike that motorcycle fans all around the world has been waiting for. Special parts has been designed and developed compactly for the Z900RS, which has inherited the passion and time Kawasaki has put into developing the Z1, to produce MOTO CORSE Style’s Z900RSC. Please look forward for the special parts designed for Z9RSC /Z900RS that will continue to be developed.
モトコルセ Z9RSCはZ900RSカスタムプロジェクトとして川崎重工株式会社様からの依頼でスタートしました。これは東京モーターショー 2017 においてワールドプレミアされる世界戦略ニューモデルであるZ900RSの発表に合わせ、そのカスタムバイクを同時発表するというこれまでにない思い切った決断によるものでした。従来のカワサキ車のカスタムとは全く異なったモトコルセ スタイルによって新しいユーザー層へアプローチをするためのプロジェクトとしてベース車輌であるZ900RSのオリジナルデザインを尊重しながらこれまでの固定観念にとらわれないモトコルセ スタイルという新しいデザインとパッケージによりZ900RSの秘めた魅力がマーケットに提案されることで新しいユーザー層の獲得という大きな役割を担っています。
MOTO CORSE's Z9RSC was built for a project to promote the z900rs which has started by a request from Kawasaki. Kawasaki's drastic decision was to simultaneously unveil its new globally strategic motorcycle Z900RS along with its customized bikes at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. MOTO CORSE's roll in this project was to approach and acquire customers who favor high-end motorcycles differing from Kawasaki's current customer base with MOTO CORSE STYLE implemented Z900RS, far different from currently trending Kawasaki customization method with unconventional manner while respecting its original design, by presenting an innovative and clean design and package that proposes the Z900RS's hidden charm to the market in a MOTO CORSE STYLE.
